Rama welcomes Kosovo and Serbia's consent for the Agreement

Serbia and Kosovo have agreed on the European proposal and this development has been considered to be historic by the Albanian PM, Edi Rama.

In a message posted on social media, the Albanian PM says peace and cooperation are key for the future.

"Peace and cooperation are key for the future we owe to our kids in this region devastated for ages from lack of peace and cooperation. I welcome the consent of the two sides for the Agreement on the Path to Normalisation between Kosova and Serbia," Rama wrote on Twitter.

"This is an important milestone for regional peace and I strongly encourage all parties involved to continue working on a swift implementation.On peace and cooperation Albania is and will remain a firm believer and a role model. We fully support every effort to overcome the past," he added.
