Tirana to host INTERPOL's most important European conference

June 11, 2024 - Tirana is set to host the 51st INTERPOL Conference, a significant event that brings together high-ranking officials from law enforcement agencies across Europe to discuss and strengthen the fight against international organized crime. The conference, which begins today marks the first time it will be held in Albania's capital city.

The event is a crucial platform for senior officials to share experiences and make decisions that will advance the measures of law enforcement agencies in the fight against organized crime. The conference will be attended by around 200 representatives from law enforcement agencies of European countries and beyond.

Albanian interior minister, Taulant Balla, who is actively promoting the event on social media, emphasized the importance of the conference, stating that it will be a key meeting for the organization at the continental level. The event will also feature speeches by high-ranking state authorities of Albania and INTERPOL leadership.
