The Special Prosecution Against Organised Crime and Corruption (SPAK) has requested 10 years in prison for former environment minister, Lefter Koka on charges of abuse with office in the matter relating to the waste incinerator of Elbasan.
Meanwhile, prosecutors have requested four years in prison for the other senior official who's suspected of his involvement in this matter, Alqi Bllako.
Former minister Lefter Koka is accused of having gained 3.6 million euros from the companies which were granted the right to build the waste incinerators.
