Jan 9, 2025 - The Italian Parliament has officially ratified a new pension agreement with Albania, aimed at making social security benefits easier to access for workers in both countries.
Signed in Rome last year, the deal covers pensions, unemployment, sickness, and maternity benefits for individuals who have worked, or been self-employed, in either nation. This agreement is set to streamline claims and ensure workers get the support they’re entitled to.
It marks another step in strengthening ties between Italy and Albania, highlighting both nations' commitment to improving social welfare for their citizens.
