Socialists win in two democrat strongholds

Socialist candidates in Kamez, Elbasan and Vora have won, according to the results released by the Central Election Commission. In these three municipalities, authorities decided to apply electronic voting and the election result came out within almost two hours.

The result in favour of the socialist candidates in Kamza and Vora is quite surprising, because both of these municipalities have traditionally voted for the right wing.

Meanwhile, the municipality of Elbasan has traditionally voted the ruling Socialist Party.

In other municipalities, ballots will be counted manually and it will take longer to release the final result.
