Former PM accuses British ambassador of being in Rama's pocket

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha continues to accuse foreign diplomats of being in Prime Minister Edi Rama’s pocket with the sole purpose of ruining the Albanian opposition and declaring him persona non-grata.

After his repeated accusations against the US ambassador, Yuri Kim, Berisha said the same thing today about the British ambassador, Alastair King Smith, whom he compared with former FBI official, Charles McGonigal. According to him, the UK ambassador has lied his government about every information he's been sending with regards to the former Albanian PM. 

The former PM’s statements come at a time when both the US and UK have declared him persona non-grata, accusing him of significant corruption and undermining democracy.
