Jan 16, 2025 - Sali Berisha has hit out at Prime Minister Edi Rama and Donald Trump’s son-in-law, accusing them of using a project on Sazan Island to buy political influence.
Berisha, who is under investigation by Albania’s anti-corruption agency for the “Partizani” case, told his followers that Rama is offering Sazan to foreign businessmen to gain power. He says this deal is just the latest attempt to sway political influence.
While Berisha criticizes Trump’s son-in-law, he is still hoping that Donald Trump will remove the “non-grata” status that has been placed on him. He claimed that if the Sazan deal follows the law, he wouldn’t oppose it, but warned against it being used for political gain.
Berisha also slammed Rama for “disgusting theatrics,” saying the PM would do anything, even kneel, to stay in power.
As Berisha waits for Trump’s help, he is also attacking the Trump family for being part of Rama’s plans.
