Former PM, Sali Berisha refuses to admit Sunday's election result, because, according to him, the will of the people has been changed.
The leader of one of the Democratic Party's factions accused, Enkelejd Alibeaj, who resigned on Wednesday as acting chairman, of being awarded 220 thousand euros by prime minister Edi Rama to serve his interests.
At a news conference today, the democrat leader accused his political opponents of committing electoral fraud and rigging the elections. He said that the low voter turnout was due to the intentional problems with the equipment and not because voters didn't have an alternative.
Meanwhile, Berisha also accused the ruling Socialist Party of vote-buying and that this was reflected in the depreciation of the European currency.
