Begaj meets UK envoy for WB

Albanian president, Bajram Begaj met on Saturday with the UK envoy for Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach.

The meeting between the pair focused on the latest development in Western Balkans and the need to introduce a new spirit of cooperation to counter the propaganda and the influence of malicious actors in the Euro-Atlantic integration of the countries of this region.

President Begaj praised the active role of the UK government in the Western Balkan region and the personal contribution of Lord Peach in this aspect.

Meanwhile, the pair also discussed the negative effects produced by the war in Ukraine for countries of Western Balkans.
