Alibeaj says Basha could run for party leader again

"Everyone has the right to run for the leader's position in a truly democratic party. This can only be decided by the party's members through a fair and honest voting process." This was declared by former acting chairman of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj when asked by reporters whether former party leader, Lulzim Basha will run for leader.

The Democratic Party is currently without a leader following Aliebeaj's resignation as acting chairman and whip.

Meanwhile, several democrat MPs have declared that Basha, Berisha and Alibeaj himself must not run for the party's leadership, because they will not be able to lead it towards victory.
