Tirana, June 19, 2024 — Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, marked the 33rd anniversary of Albania’s membership in the Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), now known as the OSCE. In a post on the social media platform "X," Hasani emphasized the enduring importance of Albania’s role and its unwavering commitment to the organization.

"Celebrating today 33 years since #Albania became a member of the Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe, now the @OSCE," Hasani wrote. "Amidst old and new challenges, Albania’s role remains essential and our dedication unwavering."

Albania joined the CSCE, now OSCE, in 1991, and has since played a crucial role in promoting security and cooperation across Europe. As the region faces both longstanding and emerging challenges, Albania continues to be a steadfast partner within the OSCE framework.
