Hamburg, June 19, 2024 — In a thrilling Euro 2024 encounter this afternoon, Albania secured a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Croatia at Hamburg's stadium. The match started positively for Albania, with Qazim Laci's header finding the net in the 11th minute, giving his team an early lead.
However, the second half saw Croatia dominating, creating numerous scoring opportunities. Andrej Kramaric managed to equalize for Croatia in the 74th minute, followed closely by an own goal from Klaus Gjasula just two minutes later, putting Croatia ahead.
Yet, in a dramatic turn of events deep into injury time, Gjasula redeemed himself by scoring again in the 95th minute, salvaging a crucial point for Albania in their Euro 2024 campaign.
