Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti said today he has travelled to Ohrid, in North Macedonia with the desire to sign an agreement with Serbia and normalize relations between the two countries. However, the Kosovar PM said that there's not yet a final text for the implementation of the agreement.

Before meeting with the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell and EU special representative for Serbia-Kosovo dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, Kurti said that he has arrived here to hold talks for an agreement and not just for mere talks.

"I'm optimistic that we'll do everything in the best interest of the Republic of Kosovo, its sovereignty and territorial integrity," Kurti said in a brief statement.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is due to meet Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and EU officials on Saturday in Ohrid, North Macedonia, to discuss implementation of the deal on normalising ties both parties agreed to last month.
