Inflation is cooling, but high prices continue to stick around

Prices of goods and services rose at a slower rate in the month of March.

According to the country’s bureau for statistics, INSTAT, inflation was 5.3% as opposed to 7.1% in February.

Inflation rate hadn’t slowed like this since March last year, but in spite of this, the price of food is still rising.

Prices for property rents, home furniture and the catering services also saw an increase.
