Flights to Albania cheaper for French travellers

Flights from France to Albania have become much cheaper ahead of the 2026 summer season, according to a French travel barometer.

The report by Digitrips and L’Écho Touristique says ticket prices are down 31% from the same period last year.

It ranks Albania among the destinations with the biggest fare drops on the French market.

The fall is linked to more low-cost flights and more direct routes between Albania and Western Europe.

The report says cheaper flights could make Albania more attractive to travellers looking for a lower-cost Mediterranean holiday.

It comes as many better-known summer destinations in the region have become more expensive.
