FDI witness positive trend

Foreign investments in Albania have continued to witness a positive trend during the second quarter of the year. From April to June this year, foreign companies injected 379 million euros or 35 million euros more than the same period a year ago.

Data released by the country’s central bank suggest that foreign companies have continued to invest in Albania, while market experts consider this trend to be normal given the boom in tourism.

Foreign Direct Investments during the first six months of the year were 686 million euros. 20% of these investments were made in the real estate market, followed by fossil fuels, the financial sector and energy.
