Construction and real estate continues to drive the Albanian economy

The Albanian office for statistics, INSTAT has released data on GDP for the second quarter of the year.

According to the figures released by this office, economic growth from April to June was 3.23%

Construction and real estate continue to be the two main drivers of economic growth. Meanwhile, agriculture and industry have declined.

Although Albania saw a significant increase in the number of tourists for the second quarter of the year, consumption was weak and it only grew 4.03%.

Meanwhile, INSTAT figures suggest that exports have fallen by 1.48%.
