Albania’s finance ministry issued a public call for consultants to conduct a feasibility study on new renewable energy resources, worth 7.3 million leks ($72,000/66,000 euro), it said in a tender notice by the ministry-owned Albanian Investments Corporation.
The consultant should provide technical advice in the fields of energy policy, environment, finance and business, as well as electrical, mechanical and civil engineering, a notice posted on the website of the public procurement agency on Tuesday showed.
The deadline for the submission of the offers is May 19. The services envisaged in the contract should be delivered within 126 weeks after the announcement of the tender winner.
In 2022, Albania generated a 5.1 GWh from photovoltaics, representing only 0.07% of the total energy output volume. (SeeNews)
