Jan 10, 2025 - Tirana has unveiled its visual identity as the Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue 2025.
The logo, designed by award-winning graphic artist Endri Dulellari, was selected from 80 entries and will represent the city's prestigious year ahead.
Mayor Erion Veliaj highlighted Tirana's leadership in the arts, claiming it invests more in culture than any other Balkan city. He also pointed out that the city’s cultural budget rivals some of Europe’s top capitals.
Beyond the logo, Veliaj announced plans to revamp key public spaces, including a new Museum of Ethnography at Sarajet and a cultural heritage museum at the former Guard Command.
The mayor also emphasized the importance of Mediterranean cooperation, declaring Tirana's role as a cultural bridge for the region.
Veliaj is confident Tirana will continue to capture international attention in 2025.
